S  Schiller Building

The Schiller Building and Theater was located on Randolph Street between Dearborn and Clark in Chicago.  A masterpiece by architects Adler & Sullivan, the building was demolished 1960-1961 after one of the first historic preservation battles in Chicago. Note the interesting Rococo style design and the hint of a mask at the end of the S.
