Offering a large variety of original antique hardware. You will find many unusual styles, specializing in rare figural patterns. Most of the higher quality antique hardware was made of cast bronze and dates from c.1860 to 1910. At this time there are still many different hardware patterns available. Also offered are complete sets of antique door hardware, in both passage and entry size, along with some of the finest sets of restored antique pocket door hardware available. Most are very ornate and in fine condition, ready for another 100 years of use.

We restore and repair all sorts of antique lock hardware from Victorian houses to roll-top desks.  We have years of experience in working on mortise locks and have a huge stock of parts to draw from.  Additionally, we can cut skeleton keys to fit your antique lock, and re-key mortise cylinders and unit locks.  We have a wide variety of escutcheons, plates, roses, knobs, mortise locks, rim locks, spindles, and everything else in between to make your antiques complete again.  If it has to do with an antique lock, we can repair it, replace it, or find it.  We are also a full-time locksmith service, servicing commercial, residential, automotive, and safes.

Distinctive craftsmanship. Old-world tradition.
Classic styling. Timeless beauty. Enduring quality. All are hallmarks of BRASS Accents, one of the world's leading crafters of cast-brass and hot-forged decorative brass hardware. Our distinctive and unique designs are the result of years of research to locate and procure only those which meet our highest standards. Still produced as a time-honored craft, molten brass is poured into sand molds, formed and cooled, and carefully scrutinized.
Each of our forged products is formed by pressing hot extruded rods into design dies, which are then trimmed and finished. While the latest technology aids productivity, it remains the artist's experience and skill that gives each BRASS Accents piece its distinctive characteristics and superb craftsmanship.
The artist's touch is in every piece.

Historic Houseparts, located in Rochester, New York, was established in 1980 in response to the abundance of "rehabbing" that had begun in our area, which is the South Wedge neighborhood. The main source of inventory at Houseparts is salvage of pre-1940 buildings that are being demolished in the western New York region. We also buy merchandise from individuals and contractors who are renovating older homes. We offer on-site restoration services for stained and leaded glass, lamps and light fixtures, and hardware.

Historic Houseparts inhabits a three-story brick row house built in 1890, a 14,000 sq ft warehouse, a 2,000 sq. foot warehouse, and now a 1500 sq. foot bathroom showroom (The Period Bath Supply Company); all within walking distance of each other. New items arrive daily, and this website is updated weekly.
