Hennepin County Courthouse
|
A masterpiece of Romanesque architecture, Hennepin County occupies one half of this building while the Minneapolis City Hall occupies the other. The county occupied their portion of the building in 1895 (which is the date on the back plates), with the city moving in a few years later. One of the more artful monogram designs for a doorknob. The Minneapolis City Hall portion of the building had similar doorknobs with the MCH monogram (P-46230).
