Treasury Seal |
The Supervising Architects office at the United States Treasury designed and/or built most Federal buildings in the United States between 1850 and 1940. Some buildings featured the Treasury Department seal on doorknobs. This style was used in the 1874 Mint in San Francisco, CA, and has a beaded design just inside the greek key.
