In 1892 catalog. Also available in flat-face version, D-12310. This plate has an interesting knob attachment system. The knob has a ring cut into the stem. A piece slides into the channel that locks the knob in place. The March 5, 1892 patent date seems to be in error. No patents were found in 1892 related to this design.
