Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Used in both the 1909 tower at 9 Madison Avenue in New York City, and the 1909 office building at 600 Stockton Street in San Francisco, which is now the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Both buildings were designed by Napoleon LaBrun & Son of New York.
