Belding Manufacturing Company was formed in 1884 for the manufacturing of iceboxes. It was succeed by Belding-Hall Company in January 1904. The knob has a diameter of 1 5/8 inches. The plate is 1 1/2 by 4 3/4 inches. Easily confused with a Gilbert knob but the trigger moves up and down not back and forth.
