A special design knob and plate by Russell & Erwin for the Manhattan Hotel built at the corner of Madison Ave. and 48th Street, New York City. It was later shown in 1909 Russell & Erwin catalog page 276 as the Renault design. Later reproduced by Sargent. The pair below show a pined knob and a knob with the patented Russell & Erwin screwless attachment.
