Cast iron. Shown in the Corbin catalog of Special Designs and listed as being used in the Monroe Building from 1912, designed by architects Holabird & Roche and located at the southwest corner of Michigan and Monroe streets in Chicago. The Warwick knob was first shown in the Corbin S catalog with the plates for Chicago's Fisher Building from 1896.
