Shown in 1893 Branford catalog this knob was shown with two different style lock faces and escutcheons. Shown below are pictures of one of the locks and corresponding escutcheon (pg. 216).  The second style lock and plates was shown  with two different size locks. The two key lock (below left) has a plate with 5 dots on each side of the key holes (pg. 244).  The smaller lock was shown (pg. 244) with a plate with one dot beside the key hole. Pictured below is a plate with 3 dots . It may have been used with a different lock or made later by Yale & Towne.
