The Palmolive Building in Chicago is located at the north end of Michigan Avenue just before it dead ends into Lakeshore Drive and Lake Michigan.  This art deco masterpiece was designed by Holabird & Root and includes elaborate metalwork such as the octagonal doorknobs.Shown in the 1920 Modern American Designs in Sargent Hardware catalog with the same plate asL-14300.
