Don't overlook the fox head. Currently being reproduced. First shown in the 1891 supplement to the Reading Hardware catalog, and first used in the 1891 Manhattan Building in Chicago by William Le Baron Jenney. Design elements in the building may reflect that the hardware are originally designed for this building. See the 1986 article by Tim Samuelson and Maud Eastwood in the photos below for more information. Last listed in the 1894 Reading catalog. In the 1896 catalog the Columbian design plates were sold withK-31200.  Pictured below is a rose attached to Columbian plates using a pin lock.
